Importance of mental health education;

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others.

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Although the terms are often used as poor mental health and mental illness which are not the same.
A person can experience poor mental health and not be diagnosed with a mental illness.

Experiences like trauma or a history of abuse for example, child abuse, sexual assault, witnessing violence, etc
It could also be related to other medical conditions, such as cancer or diabetes.

Mental health education eliminates the negatives and promotes understanding among students.Although discrimination is one of the negative effects of lack of mental health education.

In addition, they would even treat people suffering from the illness with kindness and empathy instead of avoiding them.
